Right on the shores of Lake Windermere, the 4-star Low Wood Hotel welcomes families with open arms. Children are welcome in all restaurants (up to 7.30pm for those under 12) and have their own menus to choose from. The well-equipped Leisure Centre has special fun splash times with inflatables and pool toys in the 50-foot pool. And children can use the pool at other times, of course. There are great rates for children sharing a room with their parents and the good news is that for a small extra charge, the beloved family dog can come too. 

Low Wood Watersports & Activity Centre is absolutely ideal for the slightly older child. They can try their hand at windsurfing, wakeboarding, sailing or kayaking – all with up-to-date equipment and qualified instructors. Off the water there’s bungee trampolining and a climbing wall. They’ll have so much fun they won’t want to go home!
