It’s a magnificent house packed to the rafters with treasures and an innovative safari park bursting with animals – what more could you ask of a family day out? Well, throw in a railway, adventure castle, maze, pet’s corner, a Postman Pat village, safari boats and the day just gets better and better. 

There are a few rules of the road in the safari park. Watch out for zebras crossing; remember that rhinos always, but always, have right of way and beware of meddling monkeys. Travel through lion country and tiger territory, the big game park and the East African game reserve to name but a few.

The glorious Elizabethan stately home has State Rooms to beat all state rooms; the Red Library is just one of seven libraries in the house and the Grand Staircase is just made for sweeping down.
